Review
Inspired by template from Feather's dollhouse. This section is about my personal experience with a particular doll, my feelings on it, and my story with it, rather than a formal review.

why i got her & what i do with her: genuinely i got her just because she reminds me of sunday from honkai star rail, one of my most favorite characters from media. that said, i also just like christianity-themed, and especially nun-themed dolls but i don't see those i would like often. i like that Nightstar leans towards a dark aesthetic while also keeping some "angelic" traits -- her wings looking like angel wings but actually being sparrow wings is a clever design detail. i like to coord gothic outfits for her.
face, hair, & how they fit: her face is so adorable, totally one of my most favorite ones ever. i like when dolls have interesting shapes of their pupils, and i like "crying" faces, i think they add a sense of innocence to the doll. the hair pieces don't fit too well and are trying to fall off from time to time. her hair has a slight glitter texture, i wish a bit that it would sparkle a bit more, but nevertheless it was a pleasant surprise to find out that it glitters when i unpacked her. overall her whole head has a nice design and interesting details to it despite the seeming simplicity.
clothes & accessories: it's not that i don't like her outfit but it's too simple and i personally find it bland, so i never have it on her. the stars pattern on the back of her headwear and dress are nice, but that's it; i wish she had more frills (like on the concept art -- she seemingly has more frills and lace there) and that the design would further play with her gothic aesthetics by making the belts more prominent (again -- on the concept art, her garters are belts, but in the real product they don't function as such). i think details with more chains and crosses aside from the necklace would look nice on her as well. also i find her waist belt very inconvenient to put on because it's so small; i would like it better if it had some kind of fastener.
staining: i kept her original outfit on her for several months and it didn't leave any stains on her body, though her garters did leave stains on her thighs.
current condition: as of now, she has some stains on her thighs, on the top of her body, on her hands and on her feet because i put her in unwashed black clothes (from a different series) without any anti-stain suit and faced the consequences of my actions. she currently has an anti-stain suit.
other notes: she had very tight joints when i got her, i had to keep her in a hot bath for a while.
